National Council of Teacher Education ( NCTE ), New Delhi, through its Eastern regional office at Bhubaneswar, has granted formal recognition to start one year. B.Ed. course from the academic session 2014-15 and subsequently revised recognition to start two years academic session 2015-16. Madhusthali Institute of Teacher Training is affiliated to Siddo Kanhu Murmu (SKM) University, Dumka, for awarding its students the B. Ed. degree.

Madhusthali Institute of Teacher Training D.El.Ed course is in process of getting affiliated to Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi for awarding its students the D.El.Ed certificate.
